Hey Guys!
So, long ago back in Jr. High in grade 8 I started to get into the Japanese culture, of course anime/manga and drawing as well followed after. There were two Japanese woman that were there to learn a bit about teaching, and brushing up their English. They were already fairly fluent in English so it was easy to communicate with each other. Graciously they held Japanese lessons after school for FREE. So of course I took up the offer as well as a couple of other students. It wasn't a too big of a class, a good 5-8 of us at any given time. I was able to have very simple conversations and could read Hiragana and Katakana no problem. Soon after I knew lots of words and could translate a fair bit of stuff, still had hard with sentence structure.
After Jr,high, I still studied a bit but not as I use to. When I was in Grade 11 we had a couple of Japanese intern students, one of which I became close friends with! I helped her with some translations as I was still kinda fluent in Japanese at the time and she seemed confused with English on occasion. It certainly caught her of guard when I introduced myself in her own language, she looked nervous and I wanted to ensure she had a pleasant stay and that if she ever needed anything there are many people willing to help. We hung out together and even had a couple of sleep overs, she made many friends and her stay was awesome.
I was sad to see her go after graduation, but wished her the best. A couple of years later, she and her boyfriend came back for a visit. It was great to see her again, she was so happy to be back and to be able to show her boyfriend all the wonderful friends she met. We were only able to hang out the one day but it was nice of her to take the time to see me. She is a wonderful person and I'm happy to be her friend. We kept in touch through emails and Facebook ensuring we never lose the friendship we created.
A couple of months ago, she messaged me telling me she was getting married and that she would like me to attend her wedding; not only that, but offered to show me around Japan and a place to stay during my visit. So the only cost would be the trip there, and any souvenirs while I'm there. It has always been my dream to visit Japan <3 so of course I took up the offer.
As of March, I'll be taking a big leap and travelling to Japan for a couple of weeks. This has always been my dream and I'm supper happy and excited!! <3 Due to the short notice I had to go to another province to get a rush on my passport. Thanks to my awesome work place, they gave me the days off I needed and they even paid for the hotel while I obtained my passport <3 I love my job! Though of course it does have it's stressful days but I do enjoy my work! I'm grateful to all those who have assisted with me in reaching my dream, they've been supportive all the way and I can't express on how excited and happy I am at this moment!
Thank you for taking the time to read this for those who do, I'm sure not everyone will read this but even still I appreciate and care for all my friends, family, and even my watchers! <3 Don't be shy to say hi or even drop in a note if you ever just want to just chat! <3 I'm shy at first but when you get to know me you'll see how random and weird I am XD.
Many love,

CandyFloss MYO EVENT!
The Candyfloss are holding a myo event to celebrate the Candyfloss' relaunch 1st year anniversary, and it's free for first time owners! I'd check it out if you've wanting to be part of the community. It's really fun and creative so I'd definitely recommend it ^.^ You can find it here:
It is 1 myo slot with all common traits, but by referring multiple friends and having them claim you in their myo registration you can boost the rarity of the myo you receive! If anyone does happen to sign up I wouldn't mind if you set me down as a referral :) <3
Update
So I've had to make the hardest decision today. My cat Snuggle whom I've had since I was 11 years old and was born in my bedroom had to be put down this morning. She lived up to her name as she always cuddled with me and would even sleep in my arms at night. It's going to be so heartbreaking waking up and her not being there. My heart feels like it's shattering and I can't stop crying. I'm likely not going to be posting any kind of art for a while.
